How does overall provision of ecosystem services change over time at Turkey Lakes, depending on perceived importance of individual services?

Ecosystem service responses to three different types of forest harvest - diameter-limit (31), selection (33), and shelterwood (34) - all occurring in 1997, compared with reference (32), using a composite index calculated as a weighted average of calculated metrics for water flow, water quality, scenic benefits, and greenhouse gas regulation. This results in a single variable that can be tracked over time. Weighting schemes are used to adjust how the index is calculated from these metrics. Toggles on the left control the time period of analysis, the end use of harvested biomass (ethanol/timber), whether harvested products are additional or not, and the value of the weights for each service component.
